The Ras Tanura Refinery is located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom and was completed in 1941G. Operations began in 1945G with a number of major expansions and upgrades over the subsequent years creating one of the largest refineries in the Middle East. The refinery has a gross refining capacity and a net refining capacity of 550,000 barrels of crude oil and condensate per day.
