- The First Stage PHU selectively hydrogenates the Raw C5+ Pygas, or the Raw C6+ Pygas following Stripping off the Raw C5 Cut, to remove Diolefins, Alkenylaromatics (such as Styrene), and some Olefins in order to prepare the Feed for second Stage Hydrodesulfurization.
