Regardig the 1 million tonne ethylene refining and chemical integration project, it is not yet clear in which location the steam cracker willl be built, Changling or Baling, but Changling seems a better fit regarding the size of the refinery.
The cracker will be fed with LPG, naphtha and HVGO and expected to start up in 2026. (Source)Note: We set a start-up date arbitrarily in June 2026.
