Description

Dow plans to use its Hydrogen Peroxide-based Propylene Oxide (HPPO) Technology jointly owned by BASF and Dow for the manufacturing of Propylene Oxide as part of the Sadara project. The Plant will have a capacity of 390,000 tons per year using a single Production Line. Propylene feed stock will be supplied by the Cracker unit in the same project, while Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) will be supplied by the Hydrogen Peroxide Plant to be constructed adjacent to the PO plant by a Sadara–Solvay joint venture.
