I generally do not even create such companies that have only pilot stage technology as they are not even worth mentioning. Their pilot plant has 50 MT/a capacity and they are 'working hard' on upscaling to 500 MT/a. What is that? They are dozens if not hundreds of such technology developments for chemical recycling of plastics, and PET depolymerization is just another inefficient and overexepnsive way to recover PET raw materials. Ask BASF what they think of their investment in Quantafuel, which does have an operating chemical recycling plant, they are not doing the most judicious choices. |
