Feb 17, 2025 -- Lummus Technology Secures First SAP Contract Lummus Technology confirmed its first commercial contract for superabsorbent polymer (SAP) technology with SHCCIG Yulin Chemical, licensing its newly integrated SAP process for a 40 ktpa production unit at the Yulin complex. Jun 24, 2025 -- LyondellBasell Packages Four Polyolefin Licenses On June 24, 2025, LyondellBasell announced that SHCCIG Yulin licensed its comprehensive polyolefin technology suite for two 400 ktpa polypropylene plants as well as for a 300 ktpa HDPE plant and a 300 ktpa vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) plant. The license package comprises: Spheripol and Spherizone polypropylene processes, delivering differentiated PP grades with enhanced operational efficiency. Hostalen ACP for high-performance multi-modal HDPE resins, balancing stiffness, toughness, and processability. Lupotech T for LDPE/EVA copolymers, optimized for energy efficiency and high plant availability.
