National Petrochemical Company established the Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company (AKPC) as the executor of the ongoing projects. In May 1998, Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company was selected as the executor of the 6th Olefin Project. AKPC produces polymeric products including High-Density Polyethylene, Low-Density Polyethylene and Linear Low-Density Polyethylene, which has a major position in the Iranian Petrochemical industry by supplying its products in domestic & foreign market. The complex is proud to have made the construction of furnaces and a reactor for conversion of acetylene in Olefin Plant & also the construction of HD Plant reactors for the first time in the country.
