Sasol Chemicals America produces produces and markets a wide variety of specialty and commodity chemicals, with manufacturing operations located across the United States and corporate offices in Houston. Our most significant operations are located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where we manufacture both specialty chemicals and commodity chemicals (in a joint venture with LyondellBasell).

We also have phenolics operations based at Houston and in Winnie, Texas, along with an advanced materials facility in Tucson, Arizona. Our United States facilities produce over 2 million tons of product annually, including Advanced Materials (alumina), Base Chemicals (monomers, polymers [via LIP JV], phenolics, and MEG0, Essential Care Chemicals (surfactants, ethylene oxide, C6+ alcohols, LAB and paraffin), and Performance Solutions (comonomers).
