FPG started up the plant of PVC resin in 1954 and strived for the economic development of Taiwan.

FPG started up business from plastics industry and operated diversified industries. Our business included in Taiwan, the United States, China and ASEAN. We set up many corporations and educational & medical organizations and contributed our efforts continuously to the economic development of Taiwan.

FPG currently has five major subsidiaries, including Formosa Plastics Corporation, Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation, Formosa Petrochemical Corporation, and Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation, as well as the main management department. These companies have production and operations locations in Taiwan, the U.S., China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. In addition, FPG has education and health care Organications that are equipped with abundant resources. FPG is one of the biggest private conglomerates in Taiwan.
