Sinopec Maoming Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1955. It is located in the western coast of Guangdong Province . It was founded in 1955 and is the first refining and chemical enterprise independently built by New China. It is the largest refining and chemical enterprise in South China. It is a state-owned super-large enterprise established by the merger and restructuring of Maoming Petrochemical Branch of Sinopec Group Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Maoming Petrochemical Company of Sinopec Group in accordance with the Implementation Plan for the Corporate Restructuring of Central Enterprises . The company and Maoming Branch of Sinopec Corporation are collectively referred to as Maoming Petrochemical. After more than 60 years of development, it has become one of the largest integrated refining and chemical enterprises in China.
