EcoCeres is a pure-play renewable fuel producer, with over a decade of experience in biomass utilisation, backed by international investors Bain Capital and Kerogen Capital. Founded with a mission to address the challenges of climate change, EcoCeres has earned a reputation as a global innovator in the conversion of waste into renewable fuels, renewable chemicals and materials.

We are one of the few players in the world deploying our own proprietary technologies to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), a jet fuel substitute, Hydrotreated Vegetable Oils (HVO), a renewable diesel fuel, and Cellulosic Ethanol (CE), a gasoline blend-substitute, at a scale that can help global markets fulfil greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets and requirements.

Additionally, we are developing renewable naphtha and other innovative sustainable products, in order to build an advanced biorefinery platform that encompasses renewable fuels and renewable chemicals and materials. We aim to become a key player in driving the global energy transition while advancing the holistic decarbonisation journey to replace fossil fuels.

Production Facilities

• EcoCeres' production facilities for Cellulosic Ethanol in Hebei Province, China, are certified under the Renewable Energy Directive II (RED II) and the ISCC.
• EcoCeres manufactures green and renewable HVO using patented technology at a facility located in Jiangsu Province, China, which has a capacity for producing 350,000 tonnes of HVO/SAF a year. Both our renewable fuel products and facilities have International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), which enables the sale of these products to Europe.
• Furthermore, a new HVO/SAF facility with a design capacity of 420,000 tonnes a year is under construction in Malaysia.
