CAPGC Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-incorporated joint venture established as the vehicle for the acquisition and holding of major energy and chemical assets in Singapore, notably the former Shell Energy and Chemicals Park (now Aster Energy and Chemicals Park).
Chandra Asri Group, Southeast Asia’s leading integrated petrochemical company, is the controlling party through its Singapore subsidiary, Chandra Asri Capital Pte. Ltd. Glencore, one of the world’s largest diversified natural resource companies, holds a minority stake through its Singapore holding entity.
CAPGC Pte. Ltd. is the direct owner of the assets acquired on April 1, 2025 and operates them through a newly established entity, Aster Chemicals and Energy Pte. Ltd., which manages the day-to-day operations and commercial activities of the energy and chemicals park. CAPGC thus acts as the holding and strategic management company, while Aster is the operational arm.
The term "Aster Energy and Chemicals Park" is used as a brand or operational name for the integrated manufacturing complexes on Bukom and Jurong Island, comprising the Aster Bukom chemicals and energy complex and the Aster Jurong Island chemical complex.
