Eastman Chemical Company is a global specialty materials company headquartered in Kingsport, Tennessee. Founded in 1920 by George Eastman to supply chemicals for Kodak’s photographic business, Eastman has evolved over more than a century into an independent leader in advanced materials, chemicals, and fibers. The company was spun off from Eastman Kodak in 1994 and now operates 36 manufacturing sites worldwide, employing approximately 14,000 people in over 100 countries.

Eastman’s diverse product portfolio includes specialty chemicals, plastics, copolyesters, cellulose esters, additives, and fibers, which are used in a wide range of industries such as packaging, transportation, construction, consumer goods, health and wellness, and electronics.
