Basic Chemical Industries Company (BCI) is a leading chemical manufacturing group headquartered in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1973, BCI has grown to become the largest privately owned chemical company in the Kingdom and is now a publicly listed joint-stock company on the Saudi Tadawul exchange. The company operates with a capital of SAR 275 million and employs over 350 people.

Capacity and Operations

BCI’s main manufacturing plant is located on a 200,000 square meter site adjacent to Dammam’s First Industrial City. The Dammam plant produces 24,000 metric tons of chlorine and 27,000 tons of caustic soda annually, with expansions in Jubail set to nearly double these capacities. The company’s extensive infrastructure includes warehouses and sales offices in Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dubai, supporting rapid distribution and logistics.
