Founded in 1999, CASC is a major wholly state-owned enterprise and the primary contractor for China’s space program, responsible for the design, development, and manufacture of spacecraft, launch vehicles, missiles, and related technologies. Beyond aerospace, CASC is active in machinery, chemicals, communications, and environmental technologies, and is the owner of the HT-L gasification process.
