Cheniere Energy Partners GP, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company and the general partner of Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. (CQP). As general partner, it manages all operations and strategic decision-making for CQP, giving Cheniere Energy, Inc. effective operational control over the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal regardless of LP unit percentages.

As the general partner of CQP, CQP GP holds no economic interest in CQP's assets directly, but exercises full management authority over the partnership. Its leadership team is shared with Cheniere Energy. CQP GP was formed in 2006 alongside CQP itself.
