Ludoil Energy S.p.A. is the joint‑stock holding company of the Ludoil group, based in Milan, created in 2012 to own and manage shareholdings in the group’s operating entities and to steer group‑wide strategy and investments. Its core function is to hold securities and participate in companies across the energy value chain rather than directly running day‑to‑day trading or logistics operations.

Strategic focus and activities

• Owns and controls the main operating units (such as Ludoil Energia S.r.l. and other affiliates like Ludoil RE).
• Acts as the counterparty for major M&A and strategic projects, including the acquisition of ISAB refinery via its investment arm Ludoil Capital or group structure.
• Coordinates group‑level financing, risk management and capital allocation, including investments in renewables, biomethane, bioenergy and circular‑economy assets outlined in group materials.
