Delaware City Refining Company LLC is the operating entity of the ~190,000 bpd Delaware City refinery in Delaware, PBF Energy's founding asset, acquired from Valero in 2010. The high-complexity refinery features hydrocracking and delayed coking with significant heavy/sour crude processing capability, and includes one of the East Coast's largest crude-by-rail unloading facilities. It is the named permittee on the refinery's environmental permits and regulatory filings.
