Becht provides equipment consulting services to the petrochemical industry, including high-pressure equipment for Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), steam cracking furnaces, ethylene plants and other processes. We have evaluated thousands of pressure vessels for ethylene plants with respect to brittle fracture considerations caused by autorefrigeration. Our services have also included project and turnaround services and reliability improvements, process engineering and troubleshooting of petrochemical processes including pyrolysis of ethane and propane, aromatics recovery and purification.
