Entity

Following reorganisation of the then LOTOS Group, all refining operations based in Gdańsk were integrated into a single entity in November 2021. The entity was then transformed from a production and trading company (operating under the name LOTOS Asfalt Sp. z o.o. until July 19th 2022) into a production-only company. Together with its asset base, Rafineria Gdańska Sp. z o.o. is opening a new chapter in the history of Gdańsk’s refining industry, which dates back to March 1st 1972 when Rafineria Nafty Gdańsk w Budowie was established. Its name was subsequently changed to Gdańskie Zakłady Rafineryjne, Rafineria Gdańska S.A. and finally Grupa LOTOS S.A.
