Juhua Group Co., Ltd., formerly known as Quzhou Chemical Factory, was founded in May 1958, in order to change the situation that the chemical industry in Zhejiang Province was weak at that time and the agricultural development needed chemical fertilizers, according to the instructions of Chairman Mao Zedong, under the care and support of Jiang Hua, the first secretary of the provincial party committee, the first large-scale chemical joint venture in Zhejiang Province was created. In August 1984, it was renamed Quzhou Chemical Industry Company, and in 1993, Juhua Group Company was established with the approval of the State Economic and Trade Commission, and in May 2017, the company system was restructured into Juhua Group Co., Ltd., which was changed from a state-owned enterprise to a wholly state-owned limited liability company.
