Indorama Ventures acquired INVISTA’s Germany polymer Asset in 2018. Indorama Ventures Polymers Germany (IVPG) produces polyester resins and DMT- and PTA-based specialty polymers, currently used for technical, bottle, tray sheets, film and textile applications. The company is headquartered in Hattersheim and operates a manufacturing facility in Gersthofen with enhanced research and development (R&D) capabilities. IVPG is Europe’s leading producer of packaging barrier resins with its own technology like Polyshield® and Oxyclear®.
