Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC (as successor to Phillips Investment Company), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, established to facilitate Chevron Phillips Chemical’s investments and operations in Qatar’s petrochemical sector.

The company holds a 49% stake in major Qatari joint ventures, most notably Qatar Chemical Company Ltd. (Q-Chem) and Qatar Chemical Company II Ltd. (Q-Chem II), both located in Mesaieed Industrial City.

Through these ventures, Chevron Phillips Chemical International Qatar Holdings LLC is involved in the production of high-density and medium-density polyethylene (HDPE & MDPE), 1-hexene, and normal alpha olefins, utilizing Chevron Phillips Chemical’s proprietary technologies.

The Q-Chem and Q-Chem II facilities are among the region’s most advanced integrated petrochemical plants, serving customers in Asia, Europe, and Africa, and demonstrating Chevron Phillips Chemical’s long-term commitment to Qatar’s industrial development and global chemical markets.
