Description

The phenolic nature of the constituents of Cashew Nut Shell Oil (CNSL), along with varying degrees of unsaturation in the side-chain, makes it a highly polymerizable substance amenable to a variety of polymerization reactions. Natural and technical CNSL was found to contain respectively 20.3% and 23.8% of polymerized phenolic lipids.
