Liquid chlorine is a deep yellow, oily liquid. It is extremely toxic, so it must be handled very carefully. It is transported in bulk by rail cars or or road tankers in high pressure gas tanks. The provided density is for the liquified chlorine, although it is recorded as a gaseous product (at ambiant temperature)[1].
