Lülsdorf Functional Solutions GmbH, an affiliated site that is part of our parent company ICIG, is located in Niederkassel, in the western part of Germany, near Cologne. The site is accessible by road and rail and is located close to the Rhine river.

The Lülsdorf site features production installations for liquid and solid potassium carbonate (K₂CO₃) and potassium hydrogen carbonate (KHCO₃).

Potassium carbonate and potassium hydrogen carbonate are used in a variety of different markets such as agrochemicals, food and feed, pharmaceuticals, consumer care and industrial applications.

The history of the Lülsdorf site dates back more than 100 years. Since the foundation of the site in 1913 by Hugo Stinnes and Dr. Meyer Wildermann, the Lülsdorf site has grown to an important employer in the region with around 500 employees.
