Industrial gas island project

Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. is the project company responsible for the implementation of the industrial gas island project, the overall plant is located in Guangxi Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone Petrochemical Industrial Park, the total land area of the plant is 1,517,500 square meters.

The project utilizes the leading pulverized coal gasification technology in China to form:

• 1,000,000 tons/year of methanol,
• 200,000 tons/year of ethylene glycol,
• 500,000 tons/year of acetic acid,
• 225,000 tons/year of sulphur recovery
• and other installations as well as related auxiliary facilities. 

The construction has been completed and has been put into operation in June 2021 with trial production.

Methanol to Olefins and Downstream Deep Processing Integration Project

The Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Methanol to Olefins and Downstream Deep Processing Integration Project includes:

• 1 million tons/year methanol to olefins unit.
• 300,000 tons/year vinyl acetate unit.
• 250,000 tons/year tubular EVA unit.
• 100,000 tons/year autoclave EVA unit.
• and supporting public and auxiliary facilities.

• Construction Address: The project is located in Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park, Qinzhou Port Area, China (Guangxi) Free Trade Pilot Zone, and the project is located at 108.619516922 east longitude and 21.716868431 north latitude (center coordinates). The east side of the project site is the park's high-voltage corridor and Linhai Avenue, the west side is Huayi's Phase I and Phase II projects, the south side is across Yingpan Street from Suez's hazardous waste treatment and gas island tank area, and the north side is Chengxing Phosphorus Chemical Base.
• Construction nature: expansion.
• Total investment: 1.359016 billion yuan.
