Propylene and Deep Processing Project

Guangxi Huayi New Materials Co., Ltd. had total assets of RMB10.424 billion and net assets of RMB1.025 billion. The company is the project company responsible for the implementation of 750,000 tons/year propylene and downstream deep processing project, which is located in the petrochemical industrial park within Guangxi Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, covering an area of 552,700 square meters.

The main construction units of the project include propane dehydrogenation unit, acrylic acid unit and acrylic ester unit, and the main product capacity includes 750,000 tons/year of propylene, 400,000 tons/year of acrylic acid and ester, 400,000 tons/year of butyl acrylate, and 300,000 tons/year of n-butanol. The construction of the project started in January, 2021, with a total capacity of 750,000 tons of acrylic acid and esters.

The project is scheduled for commissioning in January 2023. The total recorded investment of the project is RMB 8,726.44 million, and by the end of December 2022, the project will be completed.

Hydrogen peroxide method propylene oxide (HPPO) and polyether polyol integrated project

The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's major project promotion on-site meeting and the groundbreaking ceremony for the third phase of Huayi Qinzhou Chemical New Materials Integrated Base were held in Qinzhou. The project started this time is: Hydrogen peroxide method propylene oxide (HPPO) and polyether polyol integrated project, with a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan, mainly producing:

• 250,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide unit.
• 300,000 tons/year propylene oxide.
• 200,000 tons/year polyether polyol.
• 50,000 tons/year polymer polyol unit.
• and supporting facilities.

Bisphenol A project

Guangxi Huayi New Material Co., Ltd. is also the project company responsible for the implementation of 200,000 tons/year Bisphenol A project, which is located in the Petrochemical Industrial Park in Guangxi Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, with a land area of 201,700 square meters.

The main equipment of the project includes 230,000 tons/year of isopropylbenzene, 280,000 tons/year of phenol acetone and 200,000 tons/year of bisphenol A. The project is scheduled to be completed in January 2021 and will be completed in March 2021, with the completion of the project.

The construction of the project is scheduled to start in January 2021, and it is planned to be put into operation in January 2023 for trial run. The total investment of the project is RMB320,098.

As at the end of 2022, the project is still in the process of single-engine test run and linkage test run, and has not yet been put into production, and the project is currently operating normally.
