Description

Gexaro is a benzene extraction facility located on the Lavéra refinery site in Martigues, southern France. It processes the pyrolysis gasoline (PyGas) produced by the adjacent Naphtachimie steam cracker (CK4) and converts it into two commercially distributed products, benzene and raffinated gasoline (de-aromatised, hydrogenated PyGas supplied to the Lavéra refinery as a high-octane blending component).
