Description

The St. Paul Park refinery (SPPR) is located along the Mississippi River southeast of St. Paul Park, Minnesota, and was originally built in 1939.

It has a crude oil refining capacity of 104,000 barrels per calendar day (bpcd).

The St. Paul Park refinery primarily processes sweet crude from the Bakken region in North Dakota as well as various grades of Canadian sweet and heavy sour crude and manufactures gasoline, distillates, asphalt, heavy fuel oil, propane and refinery-grade propylene.

Products are delivered from the refinery by truck, rail and barge
