The Aster Jurong Island Chemical Complex has been a key producer of chemical building blocks essential for modern living since 1997. It is a major integrated petrochemical manufacturing hub in Singapore, operated by Aster Chemicals and Energy Pte. Ltd. and forming a key part of the broader Aster Energy and Chemicals Park.

Covering more than 60 hectares, Aster operates two sites on Jurong Island. The Seraya site manufactures mono-propylene glycol, polyols, propylene oxide, and styrene monomer. The Merbau site produces ethylene oxide, ethoxylates and mono-ethylene glycol. The site's world-scale mono-ethylene glycol (MEG) plant is among the largest in the world.
