‎HOLBORN Europa Raffinerie GmbH supplies Hamburg and northern Germany with fuels, heating products and raw materials for the chemical industry.

The refinery has been producing high-quality mineral oil products and chemical raw materials for over 30 years. The path from crude oil to the finished products is a long, multi-stage process:

• First, the crude oil is broken down into its components, i.e. it is distilled and impurities such as sulfur are removed.
• Oil fraction are then refined into basic products for fuels, heating oils and chemical raw materials.
• Finally, products are mixed according to customer requirements and additives such as bioethanol are added.

As a future-oriented and energy-efficient company, we actively contribute to the energy transition through innovative concepts and can thus make an important contribution to a lower-CO₂ future.
