Our refining & petrochemicals base locates in Quanhui Petrochemical Industrial Park, Meizhou Bay Petrochemical Industrial Base, Fujian Province, with a processing capacity of 15 million tons/year crude oil, 1 million tons/year ethylene, and 800,000 tons/year paraxylene.

10^th Jul 2014: With all its 19 units successfully passed the trial run, Sinochem Quanzhou 12 million MT/a refining project (hereinafter referred to as Sinochem Quanzhou refining project), invested solely by Sinochem Group, was officially rolled out on July 9th ../.. The project has a total of 19 units, including those related to such processes as atmospheric and vacuum distillation, residue hydrotreating, VGO hydrocracking, continuous reforming, heavy oil catalytic cracking, delayed coking, and polypropylene, as well as supporting dock and storage facilities. 2^nd Jan 2020: The state-run oil and chemicals group is adding 60,000 barrels per day of crude processing capacity at an existing 240,000-bpd refinery in Quanzhou, Fujian province. (Source). Note: 300,000 bpd corresponds roughly to 15 million tonnes/year.

7^th Dec 2020: Identified broadly as its refining and chemical integration optimization project (RCIOP), Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical said the entire 32.5-billion yuan program—a key project in China’s 13^th 5-Year-Plan period—includes a nearly 3.5-billion tranche that seeks to expand crude oil processing capacity of the complex by 3 million tpy to 15 million tpy, as well as add the following unit capacities:

• Continuous reforming (including pressure swing adsorption), 2.6 million tpy.
• Aromatics extraction, 1.4 million tpy.
• Hydrocracking, 2.2 million tpy.
• Light hydrocarbon recovery, 2.2 million tpy.
• Dry gas desulfurization, 26,300 tpy.
• LPG desulfurization-mercaptans removal; 360,000 tpy. (Source)
