Wakayama Refinery is surrounded by Arita tangerine production areas and rich fishing grounds, and is adjacent to a quiet residential area. For this reason, we pay close attention to environmental conservation on the premise of safe operation. The refinery, which began operations in 1941 and has a long history, is still an integrated production base for a wide variety of petroleum products, including special products such as aviation fuel and research and development fuel (automobile test fuel), in addition to general fuels such as gasoline, various lubricating oils, and petrochemicals. In addition, we make full use of many tanks and marine shipping equipment located in a natural harbor to flexibly respond to exports.
