Wataniya Bitumen and Oil Refinery is one of the projects of Wataniya Group is designed and licensed by Pörner which is constructing a Biturox® - Bitumen Blowing Unit for production of paving and industrial bitumen grades located in adjacent of Samawa Refinery in Iraq. This plant is installed as a grass root installation to make premium Bitumen products of different grades of road paving and industrial Bitumen. The design capacity of the BBU is 500.000 MTPA for manufacturing various Bitumen Grades (Wataniya Group website, 11 Dec 2022).
