: "I was in Japan last week to attend the installation of the first modules of IFP Energies nouvelles, JEPLAN, INC. and Axens RewindPET demonstration unit at Kitakyushu site."^[1]

"I am happy to share that IFP Energies nouvelles, JEPLAN, INC. and Axens semi industrial PET depolymerization and purification RewindPET unit entered its last phase of construction. The modules composing it, are now fully completed and will be delivered in February at our partner JEPLAN, INC.’s site in Japan for a start-up expected in summer 2023. The operation of this semi industrial unit will validate our models and the performances on a large variety of PET and polyester materials towards the different rPET applications. We already have planned for a large panel of hard-to-recycle PET and polyester material for our demo unit, however feel free to contact me to suggest any material you would like to evaluate in our technology!"^[2]
