Process

The manufacturing Processes used to produce the major types of PE are High-Pressure Radical Polymerization of Ethylene to produce LDPE, of which there exist Autoclave Reactor and Tubular Reactor types, and Low Pressure Catalytic Polymerization of Ethylene to produce LLDPE, MDPE, and HDPE, of which there also exist several types such as the Solution Process, the Stirred Tank Slurry Process, the Gas Phase Fluidized Bed Process, and the Slurry Loop Process.
