- Description
- The diluted EO- Water solution is pumped through Preheaters (hot recycle Water and Steam) into an Adiabatic Reactor where the EO is hydrated to produce Monoethylene Glycols and small amounts of Di- and Tri-ethylene Glycols. When MEG is the preferred Product the use of a large amount of excess Water reduces the formation of heavier Glycols.
