- Description
- The Crude Distillation Units are integrated with a Heat Exchanger Network (HEN). The Heat Exchangers associated with the Atmospheric Distillation Unit can have two purposes: (i) cooling Product Streams from their boiling point temperatures to about 60°C, and (ii) pre-heating the Crude Oil from environment temperature to about 280°C. The Heat Exchangers are normally of the Shell and Tube type.
