- The Crude Distillation Units are integrated with a Heat Exchanger Network (HEN). The Heat Exchangers associated with the Vacuum Distillation Unit have the purpose of cooling Product Streams from their boiling point temperatures to about 60°C. The Heat Exchangers are normally of the Shell and Tube type.
