SAC Column
Description
When Sulfuric Acid is used as an Extractant in the NAC® Column, the diluted Sulfuric Acid is re-concentrated under vacuum in the Sulfuric Acid SAC® Column. The Condensate from the Reconcentration Unit is distilled water, which contains only traces of Nitric Acid and/or Sulfuric Acid. This Water is often used as Absorber Feed Water for the Production of Weak Nitric Acid from Ammonia or for NOx-Absorption.
