Short Name: HCl Filtration
Description: The Strong Hydrochloric acid continuously removed from the Absorption Unit is sent to the Filtration System, which includes e.g. Active Carbon Filters to adsorb Organics. A Stripping Column is used to remove the Impurities within the HCl Absorption Unit. The Stripper Waste Gas contains the majority of the Organic Compounds and Chlorine. It needs to be treated in a Scrubber, for example.
