A heavy fraction of toluene used as catalyst solvent and diene such as ethylene norbornadiene (ENB) comonomer or 1-octene comonomer recovered by the purification tower (50) may be stored in separate storage vessels (55), (56), which facilitates rapid product transitions between different product families (e.g. EP(D)M and EO plastomers), while still enabling eventual recovery of the valuable unreacted comonomers.
