- Description
- This Plant started commercial operation in April 1980 with the introduction of Lummus and UOP Technologies. Raw Pyrolysis Gasoline is separated into Raw C5, and after Hydroprocessing of the remaining Fraction the C6-C8 Heart Cut (BTX) is separated from the heavier C9+ Raffinate at the bottom. The BTX Fraction is sent to the Fractionator to isolate Benzene, Toluene and Xylene.
