- Description
- This Plant started commercial operation in December 1989 with the introduction of IFP and ARCO Technologies. Raw Pyrolysis Gasoline is separated into Raw C5, and after Hydroprocessing of the remaining Fraction the C6-C8 Heart Cut (BTX) is separated from the heavier C9+ Raffinate at the bottom. The BTX Fraction is sent to the Fractionator to isolate Benzene, Toluene and Xylene with Sulfolane as an Extractant.
