Using Stone & Webster technology, the E3 furnaces are the largest ethane crackers in the world. The seven furnaces will produce 2.8 billion lb/year of ethylene. Comparably, E1's and E2's 20 furnaces produce 3.4 billion lb/year. (Source)

Ethylene produced at the Joffre Site will be the feedstock for the expanded polyethylene manufacturing activities. With the refurbishment of five of our 11 E2 furnaces, we further ensure a continued reliable supply of feedstock for our polyethylene. (Source)

Hence, E1 has 9 furnaces.

EI and EII use ethane as a raw material feedstock which is supplied under long-term ethane supply agreements with owners of natural gas liquids extraction plants located in Alberta. (Source)

Ethylene 2006 rated capacity: E1: 726,000 tonnes/year; E2: 817,000 tonnes/year. (Source
