Ulsan PP Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established in November 2018 between PolyMirae (itself a 50:50 partnership of LyondellBasell and DL Chemical/Daelim) and SK Advanced.

The company is headquartered in Ulsan, South Korea, and specializes in the production of polypropylene, a key plastic used in a wide range of applications including automotive parts, packaging, and consumer goods.

Ulsan PP leverages a vertically integrated value chain, converting propane supplied by SK Gas into propylene via SK Advanced, and then into polypropylene using LyondellBasell’s advanced Spheripol process technology.

This integration enhances raw material supply stability, operational efficiency, and responsiveness to market changes.
