Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE is the principal operating subsidiary of Dangote Industries Limited (DIL), incorporated as a Free Zone Establishment (FZE) within the Dangote Industries Free Zone in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria. The FZE legal structure grants the entity specific regulatory and fiscal privileges applicable to operations within Nigeria's designated free trade zones, including exemptions from certain import duties and taxes applicable to the domestic market.

The company operates within the oil and gas sector, classified under downstream petroleum processing and petrochemical manufacturing, and employs in excess of 10,000 people directly, with a broader contractor-supported workforce that exceeded 30,000 during peak construction. It is the entity under which all refinery operations, export revenues, and product offtake agreements are legally structured.
