Hydrotreated Diesel is obtained from Diesel boiling range feed from numerous units in the refinery, e.g. CDU, VDU, FCC, Coker, etc., combined with makeeup and recycle Hydrogen in a Distillate or Diesel Hydrotreater, also referred to as Hydro-desulfurization Unit, to remove Organic Sulfur, Nitrogen, Halide, Oxygenate, and Metal compounds.
