Description

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) or Polyethylene High-Density (PEHD) is a thermoplastic polymer produced with low pressure catalytic processes from the monomer ethylene without or ith a minimum amount of comonomer. The density of polyethylene is typically in a range from 0.940 to 0.962 g/cm3. HDPE is commonly recycled, and has the number "2" as its SPI recycling code.
